Event ConnecTD LLC
Last updated: October 13, 2026
These Subscription Terms ("Terms") are an agreement between Event ConnecTD LLC, an Iowa limited liability company at 322 N. Clinton St., Iowa City, Iowa 52245 ("Event ConnecTD," "we," "us"), and the company that subscribes ("Customer," "you"). The person who accepts these Terms confirms they have authority to bind that company. The service is for business use only and is not offered to consumers.
1. The Service
Event ConnecTD is software that helps MICE teams find, compare, and manage freelance and full-time meeting and travel professionals ("Talent"). We may improve or change features over time. We will not materially reduce the core features you paid for during a paid term.
2. Accounts and seats
- Your plan includes 2 staffing-manager seats. A seat is for one named person and may not be shared. You may reassign a seat to a different person.
- You are responsible for everyone using your seats and for keeping login details secure. Tell us promptly at keaton.herzberg@eventconnectd.com if you think an account has been compromised.
3. Price
- List price: $2,400 per company per year, including 2 staffing-manager seats.
- Extra seats: $900 per seat per year. Extra seats are not discounted under any introductory offer.
- Introductory price: New customers who start by December 31, 2026 pay $1,680 for year 1. A new customer is a company with no prior paid Event ConnecTD subscription. The introductory price applies to year 1 only.
- Prices exclude taxes. You pay any applicable sales, use, or similar taxes, other than taxes on our income.
4. Payment and automatic renewal
- You pay each year in advance by card through our payment processor, Stripe, or by invoice if we agree to that in writing. You authorize us to charge your card on file for every amount described in these Terms.
- Your subscription renews automatically every year on the anniversary of your start date, at the then-current list price ($2,400 per year today, plus $900 for each extra seat), until you cancel.
- We will email a renewal reminder 15 to 45 days before each annual renewal. It will show the renewal date, the amount, and a link to cancel.
- We may change list prices for future terms. A price change takes effect only at your next renewal, and only after we give you at least 30 days' notice. Nothing changes partway through a year you have already paid for.
5. Changing seats
- Adding seats: Seats you add mid-term are charged right away, prorated for the rest of your current term. We show the exact amount before you confirm. At renewal, each extra seat is $900 per year.
- Removing seats: A seat removal takes effect at your next renewal. You keep the seat until then. There is no refund for the current term.
6. Cancellation
- You can cancel any time online from the Billing page in the app, or by emailing keaton.herzberg@eventconnectd.com. You don't need to call us or book a meeting.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal. Except during the 14-day refund window in Section 7, you keep access through the end of the year you paid for, and we will not charge you again.
- We email a confirmation when you cancel.
7. Refunds
If your company is subscribing for the first time, you may cancel within 14 days of that first payment for a full refund of it. If you do, your access ends when the refund is issued. This applies once per company. It does not apply if your company has subscribed and paid before. After that window, payments are non-refundable, except as required by law, and if you cancel you keep access through the end of the year you paid for. Renewal charges and seat charges are never covered by the 14-day refund.
8. Late or failed payment
If a charge fails, we will notify you and retry. If an amount stays unpaid 15 days after that notice, we may suspend access until it is paid. Suspension does not extend your term.
9. Hiring through us (contingency) is separate
The subscription is the software fee. If you also hire through us on a contingency basis, that fee is separate, agreed in writing after we talk, and due only if your hire starts. We are not the employer. These Terms do not create any contingency fee obligation on their own.
10. Your relationship with Talent
- You choose, contract with, and pay any Talent you engage directly. We are not a party to those agreements. We are not the employer, staffing agency, or agent of you or the Talent.
- You are responsible for your own hiring decisions, interviews, reference and background checks, worker classification, wages, taxes, insurance, and compliance with employment and immigration laws.
- Profile information is provided by Talent. Where we describe a review or vetting step, we do so in good faith, but we do not guarantee any Talent's qualifications, availability, conduct, or performance.
- You may not use the Service to solicit Talent for unlawful purposes or to discriminate on any basis prohibited by law.
11. Acceptable use
You will not copy, scrape, resell, or bulk-export profiles or other Service data. You will not share seats, reverse engineer the Service, interfere with its operation, or use it to send spam or unlawful messages. We may suspend accounts that break this section.
12. Data and privacy
- Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
- You own the data you put into the Service. You give us permission to use it to provide and improve the Service.
- Personal information about Talent that you get through the Service may be used only to evaluate and engage that Talent, and must be handled in line with applicable privacy law.
13. Intellectual property
We own the Service and all related software, content, and branding. You get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service during your paid term for your internal business purposes. If you send feedback, we may use it freely.
14. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's non-public business information and use it only for this agreement.
15. Disclaimers
Except as stated in these Terms, the Service is provided "as is." To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that you will find or hire any particular person, or within any particular time.
16. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Each party's total liability under these Terms is limited to the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. These limits do not apply to your payment obligations, to either party's fraud or willful misconduct, or to your obligations under Sections 10, 11, and 17.
17. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify Event ConnecTD against third-party claims arising from your engagement of Talent (including employment, classification, wage, and discrimination claims), from your data, or from your breach of Sections 10 or 11.
18. Term and termination
These Terms run for as long as you have a subscription. Either party may end them for the other's material breach if it is not fixed within 15 days of written notice. If we end the subscription for convenience or for our breach, we will refund the unused prepaid portion. Sections 9, 10, and 12 through 20 survive termination.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a new version and emailing you at least 30 days before material changes take effect. Material changes apply from your next renewal, unless the law requires them sooner.
20. General
These Terms are governed by Iowa law. The state and federal courts in Polk County, Iowa have exclusive jurisdiction. Notices to us go to keaton.herzberg@eventconnectd.com and 322 N. Clinton St., Iowa City, Iowa 52245. Notices to you go to the account owner's email. You may not assign these Terms without our consent. We may assign them to an affiliate or acquirer. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. If any part of these Terms is unenforceable, the rest still applies. These Terms, together with the checkout page and any written contingency agreement, are the entire agreement on this subject.
