Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Event ConnecTD platform (“Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Platform Overview

Event ConnecTD is a professional marketplace designed to connect Travel Directors (“TDs”) with Companies seeking travel staffing and program support.

Event ConnecTD does not:

• Employ Travel Directors
• Guarantee placement or employment
• Act as an agent, broker, or employer

All engagements occur directly between users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform.

By registering, you represent that all information provided is accurate and truthful.

3. Accounts

Users are responsible for maintaining account confidentiality and all activity occurring under their account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts for misrepresentation, fraudulent activity, or violation of these Terms.

4. User Responsibilities

Users agree not to:

• Provide false or misleading information
• Circumvent platform fees
• Harass or abuse other users
• Use the Platform for unlawful purposes
• Upload malicious code or scripts

5. Fees

Companies

Companies may be subject to commission fees as disclosed during onboarding. Fees are acknowledged and accepted at account creation.

Travel Directors

Travel Directors currently use the Platform free of charge unless otherwise stated.

6. Payments

All payments are non-refundable unless required by law and due upon acceptance of platform terms.

Event ConnecTD is not responsible for payment disputes between users.

7. No Employment Relationship

Event ConnecTD does not control user conduct, supervise services, or guarantee performance. Any contractual relationship formed is solely between the Company and the Travel Director.

8. Intellectual Property

All Platform content, branding, logos, and software are owned by Event ConnecTD and may not be used without written permission.

Users retain ownership of content they submit but grant Event ConnecTD a non-exclusive license to display and use such content for platform operations.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available.” We make no warranties regarding accuracy of user information, availability of opportunities, or outcome of engagements.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Event ConnecTD shall not be liable for lost profits, indirect or consequential damages, or disputes between users. Total liability shall not exceed fees paid to Event ConnecTD within the prior 12 months.

11. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold Event ConnecTD harmless from claims arising out of platform misuse, contractual disputes, or violation of laws.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access at any time for violations of these Terms. Users may close accounts upon written request.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
